What a wonderful day it was, catching up with old friends—some for the first time in 40 years.
Hosted by the three Northern REME groups, the day was filled with friendly conversation, plenty of laughter and a few drinks!
Thankfully, my dancing—and my toast—weren’t the main attractions!
The Don Bar once again proved to be a fantastic venue, offering the perfect welcoming setting for a forces get-together.
A special thank you to our host, Julie, who made everyone feel so welcome with a lovely buffet, great entertainment and music that kept us dancing.
But it was the lads who truly made the day—what a brilliant bunch, even if 40 years hasn’t made us any better behaved!
